INGREDIENTS Chicken : 1 kg cut into medium size pieces Onion : 1 medium thinly sliced Ginger : 1 tbspn Garlic : 1 tbspn Green Chillies : 2-3 slit lengthwise Black Pepper : 2 tbspn Cloves : 5 Cinnamon :1 piece Star Anise : 2 Fennel seeds:1tspn Garam Masada powder; 1tspn Tomato:1 Thick Coconut Milk First extract : 1 cup or The milk of 1/2 coconut Thin Coconut Milk Second & Third extract : 21/2 cup Salt to taste INSTRUCTIONS In a large pan, heat oil; add cloves, fennel seeds, cinnamon, star anise and sauté for a minute. Add the sliced onions,, slitted green chilies ; sauté till it turns to soft. Add tomatoes and cook for 3 minutes Add Ginger garlic paste and saute for few mins Add chicken pieces, garam Masala powder,, pepper and salt. Combine everything well. Add semi thin coconut milk.Cover, cook till the chicken is fully cooked. Add cilantro to the stew. When chicken is cooked; add the thick coconut milk and reduce the flame and cook for 2 minutes. chicken stew is ready to serve.Serve hot with Appam or Bread.
